Dr. Paul Ekman discovered that there are seven universal micro expressions (facial expressions whose duration can be as little as 17/100 of a second). The seven universal micro expressions are:

When someone feels happiness , it looks like this:

  • Cheeks are raised.
  • Lips are drawn up and back.
  • Crow’s feet are beside the eyes.

When you see happiness, put everything aside and celebrate with them!

When you see fake happiness (no crow’s feet), dig deeper. Something is going on.
